May 5, 2023 – 10:39 am

Hoping you enjoy!

50 - The Cannibals AKA Rabid Grannies Grannies (Emmanuel Kervyn / Belgium, France, Netherlands / 1988)

I personally did not much like the Grannies cannibals but the cult following this film impresses me. It opens my Top 50 for the enthusiasm and passion of the kind that emerges. An independent film under strong inspiring.

49 - Colin (Marc Price / UK / 2008)

For a film that sales have been shot with a budget of $ 75 POV (Point Of View), Colin deserves its place in this list. A fine example of "if you want, you can" film.

48 - Redneck Zombies (Pericles Lewnes / USA / 1989)

Closeup shot of my teenage heart. This is the film that made me realize we do not need $ 1 million to sicken the world. This is ridiculous and immature. I love it.

47 - The Convent (Mendez Mike / USA / 2000)

This is probably my weakness for Satanic nuns who made me include The Convent to this list. Not that the film is bad, but it is not my idea of a "must". To see if the satanic nuns you challenge yourself!

46 - Hell of the Living Dead aka Virus (Bruno Mattei / Italy, Spain / 1980)

Often referred to as "the worst horror movie of all time, " Hell of the Living Dead certainly has enough bad decisions into a "must". Adept "So Bad It's Good"? Do not miss this one!

45 - Zombie Holocaust AKA Doctor Butcher MD (Marino Girolami / Italy / 1980)

Zombie Holocaust is an (other) work of pure operating in the same vein as Cannibal Ferox or The New York Ripper. If you like your makeup and your evil Zombies cartoonish gore, it could make you have a good time.

44 - Mucha Sangre (Pepe de las Heras / Spain / 2002)

A film entitled Mucha Sangre (Blood Many) starring Paul Naschy, in which alien zombies infect the population sodomy. I need to say more? If your curiosity has been piqued, please exit this forum now!

43 - Nightmare City aka City of the Walking Dead (Umberto Lenzi / Italy, Mexico, Spain / 1980)

Zombies running and firing the gun? Why not? This is certainly not what's going to prevent Umberto Lenzi make a few dollars on the back of George Romero! Nightmare City rock! Even if it's really bad.

42 - Hell's Ground (Omar Khan / Pakistan / 2007)

Hell's Ground has made its reputation by proclaiming "First Pakistani movie gore." Is it enough to guarantee him a place in the top 50 movies of Zombies? Maybe not, but it's certainly enough to pique my curiosity. In the end, Hell's Ground will penetrate any barrier but is very successful.

41 - Dead Snow (Tommy Wirkola / Norway / 2009)

Dead Snow has charmed more on the festival circuit and this is quite understandable. Despite its lack of originality, it does honor to the sub-genre with its Nazi Zombies and very red humor, in addition to proudly display its Scandinavian roots.

40 - Dead Heat (Mark Goldblatt / USA / 1988)

Roger Mortis and Doug Bigelow are two police officers who hunt the undead. It is the emblem that reanimate whimsical to send in criminal missions. Dead Heat is a comedy Zombies yet often ignored that deserves some attention!

Uggg! I'm sick of Asian horror movies.

My guess is that the best Asian horror movies get distributed outside of Asia or make it in into the English language media but the other 90% of those formulaic crap movies, you are lucky enough to be spared from.
In Thailand, there are the ghost of the month and the real tortue porn movies ("Saw" is comparitively lightweight and has something of a plot). Japan has the laughably, partially animated stuff like the "Deathnote" series.
"you'll find the Asian movies to be much better at horror films than Hollywood is." Maybe if you're talking about the top ten percent of Asian movies.

I'll take Horror Movie Actors and Actresses

Name the actor or actress described in these horror movies. (Extra points for identifying the movie also.)
Questions:
1) He was glued to a chair, set on fire and pushed down a city street by Ralph Fiennes in this horror classic viewed by many as far superior to the other two movies that followed the antics this widely known modern-day criminal psychopath.
2) She uttered the immortal words, "Give me those shoes Leroy," just before setting fire to the caretaker.
3) This legend of horror movies, known for drinking sterno among other alcoholic libations, died before the final version of this movie was completed and a Southern California dentist who bore a striking physical resemblance to the star was called in to complete the film

Best movies of 2003

I haven't seen Cold Mountain or Monster so with those films exampt:
1. Finding Nemo
(This movie succeeds in every area, story, characters, acting and visual execution. Albert Brooks and Ellen DeGeneres are perfect. Get rid of the Randy Newman soundtrack and the film is flawless.)
2. The Weather Underground
(A great documentary on the college protesters aka "The Weatherman" who tried to overthrow a corrupt U.S. government in the late 60's and 70's that was committing genocide in southeast asia. While they turned out to be right about Vietnam, their tactics were as much in question as Nixon's

Don't Let The Movies Kill Dead Space

Dead Space 2 is a crazy good game, and the survival horror series is building up a sizable fan base. Know what that means?
There are rumblings of movie possibilities. The games already got the animated and graphic novel treatment as well as toys. So a big screen version seems to be the logical next step!
Dead Space co-creator Ian Milham tells the BBC, "We would love to have a live action film and we've had a lot of discussion." But Milham says that one of the reasons that Dead Space still exists and is still popular is that the developers "made sure to do everything right"
