Jessica Lange (* April 20 1949 in Cloquet , Minnesota ) is an American film actress and two-time Oscar -winning actress.
Long studied at the University of Minnesota before moving to Paris went there to learn the art of acting. In 1973 she returned to the United States . Three years later, she made her acting debut in Dino De Laurentiis 'film King Kong and was once the Golden Globe Award as Best Young Actress Award. 1983 Jessica Lange was twice for the Oscar nominations, one for Frances with Sam Shepard , the other for Tootsie with Dustin Hoffman . For the latter, she was awarded the prize. She was nominated by her second Oscar in 1995 for three more times Operation Blue Sky received. In 1992, Jessica Lange her Broadway debut in Tennessee Williams 'A Streetcar Named Desire at the side of Alec Baldwin . In March 2012, Pioneer Pictures announced that the long six times Academy Award nominee Glenn Close in the crime drama thriller Therese Raquin replaced. [1]
Jessica Lange from 1982 to 2010 with the writer, director and actor Sam Shepard romantically involved. [2] From the relationship shared two children were born. Jessica Lange also has a child from a previous relationship with dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov .

I haven't seen Cold Mountain or Monster so with those films exampt:
1. Finding Nemo
(This movie succeeds in every area, story, characters, acting and visual execution. Albert Brooks and Ellen DeGeneres are perfect. Get rid of the Randy Newman soundtrack and the film is flawless.)
2. The Weather Underground
(A great documentary on the college protesters aka "The Weatherman" who tried to overthrow a corrupt U.S. government in the late 60's and 70's that was committing genocide in southeast asia. While they turned out to be right about Vietnam, their tactics were as much in question as Nixon's
Kurosawa (Soon, More on Other Japanese Movies)
I'd ask what kind of movies you like first. For me, anything by Kurosawa is worth watching, but I couldn't recommend everything Kurosawa made unless I knew what your interest in Japanese movies is. That is, horror, anime, jidai-geki, etc.
Kurosawa, truly one of the gr...my opinion, one could properly mention his name in the same breath as Yasujiro Ozu, John Ford, Frank Capra, Cecil B. DeMille, Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, or any other-may be best known to Western audiences for the aforementioned jidai geki (period pieces) he made, especially his samurai films such as "Rashomon," "Seven Samurai," "Ran," "Red Beard," "Yojimbo," "Throne of Blood," and others
